STANDARD & PICKLE-STANDARD
Highlighting a known typography via a website, in the form of a prototype which will serve as a typographic specimen.
In my case it is Standard and Pickle-Standard, two fonts made by Benoît Bodhuin in 2018.
These typographies are linked to each other, but have very different origins. It was really important to distinguish them visually
in order to understand and observe the details, but despite this, certain parts give us the opportunity to compare them.
For Standard, the construction process and architectural inspirations create a much more structured universe.
And for Pickle-Standard, the signage and the desire to push the initial project beyond the grids create a whole system which
causes more disruption.
